FAQ
What is Korean dream reading (haemong)?
Haemong is the Korean folk tradition of reading dreams as symbols: good omens (gilmong), bad omens (hyungmong), "opposite" dreams where scary images mean good news, and taemong, the conception dreams families share.
Why are scary dreams sometimes good omens?
In the opposite-dream tradition, dreams of dying, funerals or crying are read as endings that make room for good news.
